Created: June 18, 2009 00:19 Custom 404 message?Since I've switched my domain from Blogger to Injader (with a different filename structure), but I'm leaving the Blogger blog up at the blogspot address (ginkgo100.blogspot.com), I would like to create a custom error message for "File Not Found" errors that gives visitors a link to each site, old and new. Right now, if you click on an old link to a post (e.g. in Google), you get this error message from Injader: System MessageThe page cannot be found. Supporting information: None provided. Can this be modified? I don't want to redirect all visitors because the old blog gets a lot of traffic, so Google Webmaster's site-move tool won't work. Tags: None. |

At this stage, it can't be modified, but it would be a good thing to include as a theme file. I'll look at it for 2.3.3, seeing as 2.3.2 is now in beta testing.
