Plugin improvements
You can now import, export and delete plugins. Now that you can import plugins, we have created three plugins for you to download: Monthly Comments, Newest Users, and Top Commenters. These are available in the Customer Area.
We've also added a new variable to plugins - {CMS_PL_VIEWUSER} - which generates a link to a user's profile. To see this variable in action, import the Newest Users or Top Commenters plugin.
Quick and easy site images
Instead of having to copy and paste image URLs from the Site Files screen, you now have a Site Image button in the WYSIWYG editor. This displays a small popup window alongside the editor where you can select a site image. The popup window displays the JPG and PNG files from the Site Files screen.
Also, the Site Files screen now has page numbers to reduce bandwidth and make the popup window easier to use.
User Management
You can now sort the "show all users" option, e.g. to show the newest users first, or to sort the users alphabetically. The user list now has page numbers to save bandwidth. Plus a few small design changes.
AdminCP statistics
In addition to the number of registered users, the AdminCP now displays the total number of articles, comments, uploads, avatars and site files on your site.
Custom <head> code
A new field has been added to General Settings so you can add code to the <head> tag of your site.
SQL Query
The SQL query screen will now tell you how many rows were retrieved for a SELECT query, and this is also logged in the Access Log. Also, if you run an INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE query, the number of affected rows will be stored in the Access Log too.
Bug fixes
- Double quotes in comments appear as " in notification emails
- When editing content in the WYSIWYG editor, some words run together
- Viewing a thumbnail logs a download in the Access Log and increments the hit counter - it shouldn't do either
- User group checking isn't working for extensions in the UserCP
- Undefined index warnings on comment.php and file.php
- URL errors on colour popup
- Servers that use magic quotes do not correctly escape content
- UserCP - wrong SEO title on profile links
- Incorrect variable name in default file page template
- Comment template variables can conflict with each other
