Majestic 1.5.2 Release Notes
< Majestic 1.5.1 Release Notes | Release Archive | Majestic 1.5.3 Release Notes >
This version includes the following changes:
New default templates
We've created a brand new set of templates that you'll get when you install Majestic for the first time. Premium users can also recreate these templates via the Import screen in the AdminCP. New installs will also get a forum created with the appropriate forum templates, so you'll be able to try out our simple forum functionality.
Search improvements
The search engine now includes a drop down list so you can easily choose an area to search, or search them all. Also, we've tidied up the search screen so it looks better than it did before.
Small changes
- Security fix to address an issue with the CAPTCHA
- Access Log - you can now search for an IP address
- Site Templates - added a variable for the site title
- Page Templates - separated comment list and comment form into two variables
- Manage Content - username search is now a text field instead of a drop down list (reduces database activity)
- Display licence type (Basic, Premium) in the navigator
- Miscellaneous CAPTCHA changes
- Fixed a database error with tags
- Fixed a minor problem with user profile links
- Fixed a problem with invalid error messages in the search engine
