Majestic 1.5.6 Release Notes
Please note: 1.5.6 introduces a new
cache folder, stored under
data. You will need to change the folder permissions so files can be created in the new folder. Refer to
part 3 of the installation guide if you need help with this.
Improvements in this version
- Copy page templates
- Copy comment templates
- Site template caching - should improve performance slightly
- Better "system locked" notification - should be more visible
- New
colour drop down list in the posting editor - more colours than before,
easier to find the colour you want, works better in Internet Explorer
- When
selecting a site image in the posting editor, the alt attribute will
use the title of the image (previously it just said "Site image")
- Display comment count in Manage Content
- Added variables for attachment thumbnail sizes to the area and page templates
Fixes and maintenance changes
- Security: Access permissions in posting editor
- Fixed: PNG thumbnails don't work in PHP5
- Fixed: System lock doesn't work
- Back-end: Replaced mark/unmark, lock/unlock with non-AJAX versions. Removed AJAX header from content area and article page templates
- Back-end: Improved code in General Settings
- Back-end: Improved code in Content Settings
- Back-end: Improved code in File Settings
- Back-end: Improved code in Form Recipients
- Back-end: Improved code in Permission Profiles
- Back-end: Improved code in User Sessions
- Back-end: Updated join date checking when adding a user
- Back-end: Removed reference in initialisation script
- Back-end: Bypass the cache when in dev mode
