Can't Modify/Edit Structure Areas

Sorry for so many posts today, Ben! I'm working in Majestic a lot today, so as I encounter any bugs/weirdness, I thought it could only help to make you aware of them. Hope I'm not overwhelming ya!

Anyway, I understand that Basic users only get 10 content areas, and that's no biggie to me. However, I'm at my 10-area threshold, and I wanted to edit some settings on a couple of them. When I click on "edit" I get this message:

System Message The Basic licence only allows a maximum of 10 site areas. Please consider purchasing the Premium licence at http://www.injader.com Supporting information: Authorisation Go back to the previous page.

That message also appears when I try to delete a content area.

Yesterday, when I had less than the 10 areas, I was able to edit/delete them to my heart's content...

So far, the [10] parent areas I've created have no children under them, so it seems I should be able to delete/change a parent area fairly easily this early in my site development.

Also, it seems to me that we shouldn't get permanently "locked" into our content areas and unable to change or delete them once they're set up... so I'm wondering if it's a bug?

Finally, the "modify" option under templates works fine. The problems happen only with the content edit/delete options.

Just wanted you to know!
Thanks [again & again].
:o)

Hi modernmuse,

Definitely a bug. Creating, editing and deleting areas is handled by the same file, and it isn't checking what you're doing before it displays that error. It should only lock you out when you create an area. Modifying templates is in a separate file so that's why you don't get an error there.

I've updated the ZIP file for Majestic 1.5.6 with a fix. Try downloading it, extract the ZIP file to your hard drive, but only upload the following file:

admin/adm_structure_area.php

Then try it again and see if it works.

Don't worry about raising several issues - we're glad to have the feedback.

Thanks!
