In development: Majestic 1.1

The next version of Majestic is currently in development. We started on Majestic 1.0.1, but as the number of changes grew, we decided to work towards Majestic 1.1 instead.
In this update we will be introducing site templates. These extend the functionality of the system template group by allowing you to maintain several site templates. You'll get the usual create/edit/copy/delete options that you'd expect from template management screens.
This means you can create seasonal templates, promotional templates and so on without having to edit the templates that are currently active on your site. You can apply the changes to your site, then apply a different template if you want to change the design.
For clarity, template groups are now called area templates. These are the templates that allow you to customise the content listings within your areas. The site template controls the header, footer and stylesheet that appears on your whole site.
There are some other changes we'd like to include in this version, but we don't want to make promises we can't keep. We'll give a full explanation of what's in this version when it's ready. Anything that doesn't make it in will appear in a subsequent version.
Hopefully we should have something for you in the next couple of weeks, but this isn't a guarantee. We'll keep you updated on our progress.
